Thanksgiving and more

Well, Thanksgiving is Thursday and I'm a bit behind. I haven't blogged since right after Halloween, and that's mainly due to being behind in everything (including my classes)! So here's the nutshell of what's going on:

We're moving in with my mom for a bit. Not entirely sure how long it will last (how long can my sanity take it?), but we're going. This is for several reasons, but part of it has to do with the prayer requests that I asked for right before Halloween.

The prayer request stuff: Things are getting better, and almost to a point where I can actually talk about what's going on. Not quite yet, but we're getting there. I would anticipate that I can actually begin talking about what's going on in about 2 to 2.5 weeks.

On the job front, I have an interview tomorrow at 1:15pm. Please Please PLEASE pray for me about this -- this is a great opportunity for me (and would help us out tremendously). I would LOVE to take the job that I am interviewing for tomorrow, but I know there are other candidates that are being interviewed. One of the best things about this job is that it wouldn't cause me to miss church and my activities there. The other is that I would be working with kids for the majority of the time (it's not a teaching job, I wish!). It's a local, family owned company, but is growing quickly and could expand in the next couple of years.

General: I've got a bad case of baby fever! This has been going on for awhile (anyone who knows me, knows this!), but it seems like all of my friends and half the women at church are turning up pregnant! I'm feeling like a minority at the moment, and I don't like it! As always, I'm thrilled for those friends of mine and ladies at church that they are being blessed so richly, but that doesn't make waiting any easier! Of course, one of my friends did try to help me by saying "well wouldn't it be nice to be one of the only ones pregnant instead of being pregnant with everyone else?", and I'm appreciative of her efforts, but it didn't work!!! haha.... I'm praying for God's strength -- I know that we'll have a baby when it's in His timing, but that doesn't make the waiting any easier.

Sick: My grandmother isn't feeling so hot -- she was on vacation down in TX seeing my uncle (her son), and came home a week early because she didn't feel good. I hate that, because I know with everything else going on, she needed a vacation, but it didn't work out that way. Alas, I do want her to get to feeling better.

I'm going to link to another blog here:

This is Amy Smith's Blog (her husband is Todd Smith, from the band Selah). She's got a great blog, but most of all right now, she has a great link to a great ministry opportunity if you have the ability to get involved. So go visit! :)

If I don't get back on here until after Thanksgiving, I do hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and is blessed beyond measure. I know that I am! Glory to God! I am thankful for what He has given me the gift of eternal life that I have because of His Son!
